Flocking

Picture
Wool-flocked saddles can be flocked by adding, removing or adjusting the wool in the panels.
Often it does not require opening the saddle and/or removing the panels.
At times, depending on the model of the saddle, the rear panels may need to be dropped
for access.
$75.00 w/o dropping panels

The current flocking may need to be completely replaced if the old wool has broken down, has compressed or the wool has become lumpy, uneven and compressed over time. A complete reflock requires the saddle to be taken apart. The old wool or foam is removed and replaced with new wool.
Note: I am currently not accepting any foam to wool conversions but will be happy to refer you to a saddle maker that you can ship the saddle to.

Billet replacement

Billets should be checked for integrity on a regular basis. Worn, stretched billets not only make it difficult to adjust your stirrups at the same length but are also a safety concern should they break.
$40 / billet
$140 / set of four

Add $55.00 if saddle needs to be taken apart and reassembled for access.

Tree Adjustments

Other saddles may be referred for adjustments. In some cases it it requires that the saddle is taken apart, so please expect the saddle to be in the shop for a few days.
